Your tasks:
- Follow a planned route on a time schedule
- Check the bus tires, lights, and oil and do other basic maintenance
- Help disabled passengers get on and off the bus
- Follow traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations
- Keep passengers informed of possible delays
Your skills:- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
- Proficiency in the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and forcareer counseling and guidance
- Using mathematics to solve problems
- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
- Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
- Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
